We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Year Engineering Apprentice to work with a well known manufacturing business in the Tatura area.

We are looking for a motivated, hardworking and reliable candidate who is wanting to continue to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving formal trade school training and a Certificate III in Engineering.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication).

Qualities needed:

• An open minded attitude & willingness to learn
• A keen interest in the engineering – fabrication industry
• Experience of using hand & power tools (preferable)
• A strong work ethic
• Good time keeping skills
• A basic mechanical aptitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Demonstrate initiative and follow instructions

Qualification/skills required:

• Certificate II in Engineering or previous exposure to the Engineering Industry  would be an advantage but not essential.
